Internet Forum, the first part of International Youth Banking Forum, has been finished on 21st of November 2008! The main subjects of the Internet Forum were:

• Financial Institutions under the Terms of the Global Financial Crisis
• Young Professionals in the Contemporary Banking
• How to Get a Loan for Business Development

As a result several most active participants were asked to make reports on the second part of International Youth Banking Forum – Forum Apotheosis. Students, professors, businessmen and graduates of EBTN member institutes will come to International Banking Institute to take part in the Forum Apotheosis.

The Agenda of Apotheosis forum is formed upon the results of Internet Forum.

Took an eye on concerning themes is the main goal of the forum Apotheosis.

Forum Apotheosis will take place at the International Banking Institute: Nevsky pr., h. 60, room № 316 on 4th of December 2008 from 6.30 p.m. till 8.30 p.m.

Also it is possible to take part in Forum Apotheosis by asking questions HERE before the Forum Apotheosis starts and during it.

Publication: “International Youth Banking Forum Materials” will include Forum Apotheosis reports and selected pages from Internet Forum.

This International Banking Forum takes place in an interesting though difficult time of big changes.

The unstable situation on the internal and external markets of capital and the liquidity deficit will, certainly, influence the growth rate, credit policy of credit institutions as well as international economic relations.

Although the nearest future may be difficult for the financial sector of Russia as a whole, we should understand that this situation is opening new perspectives for the economic development of our country.

Forum is a very important platform for serious, useful and unprejudiced exchange of opinions among the participants who are interested in understanding the current situation and are ready to elaborate concrete and optimal propositions how to overcome the crisis.

You, representatives of the young community of economist, are expected to greatly contribute to a successful solution of the problems that people and Russia as a whole are being faced with nowadays.

Now days the whole world has undergone the severe financial crisis. It has touched upon all spheres of business activities, and banking system is in the center of the crisis.

On the one hand, unfortunately, the crisis has brought a lot of troubles and difficulties, which have lead to financial disaster for some financial institutions and investors.

On the other hand, each crisis like that is a high time for elaborating and launching of any types of innovation, as long as they have revealed challengers and perspectives for further development. Plenty of old links and relations were disrupted, but, at the same time, new ones have emerged. It is time for creative and ambitious professionals, who are not afraid of taking risk, who are able to change the situation, and gain benefits for both themselves and public good. These professionals can foster the revival of the financial markets and lead our society to prosperity.

Thus, you have got rare opportunity to conduct research in dynamic on the basis of contemporary events, to widen your economic knowledge, to get acquainted with different viewpoints, and to offer your own feasible way of tackling the issues.
